Settimo al termine delle prove libere, Lata ha concluso al secondo posto la sessione cronometrata, ad un soffio dalla prima posizione, mentre Fredsoe, decimo dopo il primo turno è incappato in una brutta caduta che ha compromesso le qualifiche, concluse al 31° posto. Al via della prima gara del sabato, su un terreno reso fangoso dalle abbondanti precipitazioni, la tabella rossa della serie non riesce a scattare al meglio e dopo essere rimasto coinvolto in tre cadute coin altri piloti termina 24°, senza raccogliere punti. Nella seconda frazione della domenica la partenza del pilota romano è migliore ma una caduta alla prima curva lo rallenta, relegandolo fuori dai 15. Dopo una scivolata e un’ulteriore recupero Lata termina 13°, portando a casa 8 punti che lo fanno scivolare al terzo posto in classifica di campionato. Le cose sono andate molto meglio per Fredsoe che con la GASGAS MC 250F riesce a partire davanti in entrambe le frazioni. Secondo nella prima, il danese lotta a lungo nella top 3 prima di concludere quinto. In gara due lo scatto è nuovamente ottimo e l’esordiente sulla 250 quattro tempi riesce a concludere sesto, conquistando il sesto posto assoluto, miglior risultato dell’anno, portandosi al 12° posto in campionato.

Il team Beddini GASGAS Factory Juniors rientrerà ora in Italia per preparare la prossima tappa del Campionato Italiano Prestige di motocross e il successivo quinto round del Campionato Europeo EMX250 che si terrà in Germania tra due settimane.

The fourth round of the season of the EMX250 was held this weekend on the St.Jean d’Angely track, 130 km north of Bordeaux. The French circuit which stands on the hills not far from the Atlantic Ocean and which has hosted the Motocross World Championship since 1984, returns to host the MXGP after a two-year break. Valerio Lata and Mads Fredsoe faced the French Grand Prix after from the positive experience they had a week earlier in Galicia, when they took part in the sixth round of the MX2 as wildcards.

Seventh at the end of free practice, Lata ended the timed session in second place, close from first place, while Fredsoe, tenth after the first session, suffered a bad crash ending in 31st place. At the start of the first race, on ground made muddy by heavy rainfall, the red plate of the series is unable to get off to its best start and after being involved in three crashes with other riders, he finishes 24th, without collecting any points. In the second moto the Italian rider’s start was better but a crash at the first corner slowed him down, out of the 15th. After a crash and further recovery Lata finished 13th, taking home 8 points which made him slip to third place in the championship standings. Things went much better for Fredsoe who managed to start in front in both motos with the GASGAS MC 250F. Second in the first, the Dane fought for a long time in the top 3 before finishing fifth. In race two the start is again excellent and the rookie on the 250 four-stroke manages to finish sixth, taking sixth place overall, the best result of the year, taking him to 12th place in the championship.

The Beddini GASGAS Factory Juniors team will now return to Italy to prepare for the next round of the Italian Prestige motocross Championship and the fifth round of the EMX250 European Championship which will be held in Germany in two weeks.

Dario Beddini Team Owner: “Weekend molto difficile per Valerio che dopo un’ottima qualifica non è riuscito a trovare il ritmo in nessuna delle due manche a causa di partenze poco brillanti e diverse cadute. Questa settimana lavoreremo molto duramente per cercare di rimetterlo nella giusta careggiata e per riprenderci quello che abbiamo perso. Mads invece continua ancora la sua crescita; sono veramente contento dell’ottimo risultato che ha centrato e dopo una qualifica poco brillante ha dimostrato con due belle partenze e un buon ritmo gara che può stare nella top 5.”

Joakin Furbetta Team Manager: “Il weekend non è partito al meglio per Mads che avendo fatto due cadute in qualifica non è riuscito a fare meglio del 31° tempo, al contrario di Valerio che ha sfiorato la pole di qualche centesimo. In gara la situazione si è ribaltata, Mads ha fatto un ottima prima manche sotto la pioggia, facendo quasi l’hole-shot e chiudendo in quinta posizione la prima manche. In seconda manche Mads ha fatto di nuovo un’ottima partenza, senza commettere errori, guidando bene e chiudendo in sesta posizione per un 6° posto assoluto. Per Valerio è stato decisamente un weekend da dimenticare, non era lui. Torniamo a lavoro, dobbiamo riprenderci ciò che è nostro. Grazie a tutti i partner e alla squadra.”

Valerio Lata #53: “Sabato avevo un buon feeling con la pista e sono riuscito a fare il secondo tempo, anche se la pole era alla mia portata. Nel pomeriggio la pioggia ha cambiato la pista, ho fatto tanta fatica, sono partito male e ho fatto tre cadute insieme ad altri piloti; ho cercato di recuperare ma ho concluso 24° con uno zero. Domenica ho fatto uno scatto leggermente migliore ma sono rimasto imbottigliato con altri piloti caduti davanti a me. Ho fatto una scivolata a metà manche e sono riuscito a concludere 13°. Non siamo assolutamente soddisfatti e ci dobbiamo andare a riprendere la tabella rossa al più presto. Lavoreremo ancora più duramente per farlo e per mantenerla.”

Mads Fredsoe #51: “Che fine settimana! 5° e 6° di manche con due buone partenze per un 6° assoluto. Ho fatto una brutta caduta in qualifica ma sono riuscito a resettarmi e a concentrarmi sulle manche. Un grande passo per me, ora continuiamo così. Un grande ringraziamento al team Beddini e al mio meccanico Leo per tutto il lavoro che svolgono.”

In the race the situation was reversed, Mads did an excellent first heat in the rain, almost getting the hole-shot and finishing the first heat in fifth position. In the second heat Mads made an excellent start again, without any mistake, riding well and finishing in sixth position for a 6th place overall. For Valerio it was definitely a weekend to forget, it wasn’t him. Let’s go back to work, we have to take back what is ours. Thanks to all the partners and the team members.”

Valerio Lata #53: “Saturday I had a good feeling with the track and I managed to set the second fastest time, even though pole was within my reach. In the afternoon the rain changed the track and I struggled a lot. I started badly and crashed three times together with other riders, I tried to recover but I finished 24th with a zero. On Sunday I made a slightly better start but I was stuck with other riders who crashed in front of me. I crashed halfway through the moto and managed to finish 13th. We are absolutely not satisfied and we have to go and get the red plate as soon as possible. We will work even harder to do so and keep it on our bike.”

Mads Fredsoe #51: “What a weekend. 5th and 6th in the motos with 2 good starts. 6th overall. Had a big crash in qualifying but I managed to reset and focus on the motos. Big step for me so let’s keep going like this. Big thanks to the team Beddini and my mechanic Leo for all the work they do.”

Dodicesimo al termine delle prove libere Valerio Lata ha concluso al 14° posto le prove cronometrate, chiudendo al 12° posto la gara di qualifica. In Gara 1 la tabella rossa della EMX250 è partito male ma è risalito fino al 14° posto; partito ancora peggio in Gara 2 e ritrovatosi 34°, Valerio ha rimontato fino al 15° posto finale, con un ottimo ritmo, concludendo il primo Gran Premio dell’anno 13° assoluto.

Anche Mads Fredsoe si è adattato in fretta alla nuova categoria; 26° al termine del tutto delle libere, ha concluso al 25° la successiva sessione cronometrata. Ventesimo nella prima gara di qualifica della sua ancora breve carriera, il danese ha chiuso gara 1 al 24° posto dopo una buona partenza e una scivolata. In gara 2 Mads si è trovato in terza posizione durante il primo giro dopo una partenza fantastica. Uscito dalla top 10, il danese è scivolato, ripartendo 19°, posizione nella quale ha tagliato il traguardo dopo essere risalito fino al 17°, conquistando i primi due punti in MX2, terminando 21° assoluto.

Il Team Beddini GASGAS Factory Juniors si sposta in Francia, dove, sul tracciato di St.Jean d’Angely, questo fine settimana si disputerà il quarto round del Campionato Europeo EMX250.

The sixth round of the FIM Motocross World Championship took place this weekend on the “Jorge Prado” track in Lugo, Galicia. The Beddini GASGAS Factory Juniors team fielded Valerio Lata and Mads Fredsoe as wildcards who completed a more than positive experience before the next French Grand Prix, fourth stage of the 2024 EMX250.

Twelfth at the end of free practice Valerio Lata finished the timed practice in 14th place, ending the qualifying race in 12th place. In Race 1 the EMX250 red plate had a bad start but climbed up to 14th place; starting even worse in Race 2 and finding himself 34th, Valerio recovered to 15th place finish, with an excellent pace, ending the first Grand Prix of the year 13th overall.

Mads Fredsoe also adapted quickly to the new category; 26th at the end of free practice, he finished the following timed session in 25th. Twentieth in the first qualifying race of his still short career, the Dane finished race 1 in 24th place after a good start and a crash. In race 2 Mads found himself in third position on the first lap after a fantastic start. Having dropped out of the top 10, the Dane slipped, restarting 19th, a position in which he crossed the finish line after climbing up to 17th, taking the first two points in MX2, finishing 21st overall.

The Beddini GASGAS Factory Juniors Team moves to France, where the fourth round of the EMX250 European Championship will take place this weekend on the St.Jean d’Angely track.

Dario Beddini Team Owner: “I punti conquistati da Valerio non rispecchiano il suo potenziale; le partenze non brillanti e una caduta in seconda manche hanno compromesso il suo risultato, anche se il suo ritmo gara era da top 10. Bella prova per Mads che per la prima volta si è confrontato con i ‘grandi ‘ riuscendo a sorprenderci con un’incredibile partenza in seconda manche, conquistando i suoi primi punti iridati. L’obbiettivo del team era di portare a casa un buon allenamento, evitando di rischiare e direi che ci siamo riusciti.”

Joakin Furbetta Team Manager: “È stato un ottimo weekend di allenamento per entrambi i ragazzi che hanno avuto la possibilità di confrontarsi con i migliori piloti al mondo. Valerio ha dimostrato ottime velocità e resistenza durante entrambe le manche e mettendo a punto un paio di dettagli può lottare per la top ten. Mads ha dimostrato una grandissima determinazione facendo ottime partenze e combattendo con piloti di livello alto. In generale un super allenamento in vista della Francia.”

Valerio Lata #53: “Non è stato un weekend semplice, la pista era difficile da interpretare e siamo stati molto attenti a non commettere errori perché siamo primi sia nel campionato europeo che nell’italiano, quindi abbiamo fatto il doppio dell’attenzione. Ho concluso al 13° posto assoluto, ho avuto un sacco di battaglie in pista e, purtroppo, in gara due quando ero decimo un pilota mi è caduto davanti e le nostre moto sono rimaste incastrate. Ho perso molto tempo e la moto era danneggiata, però da ultimo sono riuscito a rimontare fino al 15° posto. Il nostro obiettivo è quello  di restare concentrati sull’europeo in Francia e su tutte le gare che verranno. Ringrazio il team per il lavoro fatto assieme.”

Mads Fredsoe #51: “Sabato ho fatto una bella manche di qualifica e ho finito ventesimo, iniziando al meglio il fine settimana. Domenica in gara uno ho fatto una buona partenza e ho guidato abbastanza bene per tutta la manche ma negli ultimi tre giri iniziavo a essere un po’ stanco e ho fatto un errore, cadendo, perdendo due posizioni, terminando 24°. In gara due ho fatto una partenza super, ritrovandomi terzo contro i piloti ufficiali, cosa che mi ha a dir poco sorpreso. Ma è stata una sensazione bellissima, in breve sono sceso al 10° posto ma sono scivolato. Comunque sono riuscito a fare una bella manche e a finire 19°, facendo i miei primi punti mondiali.”

Good performance for Mads who competed with the ‘big boys’ for the first time, managing to surprise us with a incredible start in the second heat, winning his first world championship points. The team’s goal was to bring home good training, avoiding risks and I would say that we succeeded.”

Joakin Furbetta Team Manager: “It was an excellent training weekend for both boys who had the chance to compete with the best riders in the world. Valerio demonstrated excellent speed and endurance during both motos and by working on a couple of details he can fight in the top ten. Mads showed great determination by making excellent starts and fighting with high level riders. Overall a super workout ahead of France.”

Valerio Lata #53: “It wasn’t an easy weekend, the track was sketchy and we were very careful not to make mistakes because we are first in both the European and Italian championships, so we paid double attention. I finished 13th overall, I had a lot of battles on the track and, unfortunately, in second moto when I was tenth, a rider fell in front of me and our bikes got stuck. I lost a lot of time and the bike was damaged, but I managed to recover up to 15th place. Our goal is to stay focused on the European Championship in France and on all the races to come. I thank the team for the work done together.”

Mads Fredsoe #51: “On Saturday I had a good qualifying heat and finished twentieth, making a great start to the weekend. In race one on Sunday I made a good start and rode quite well for the whole moto but in the last 3 laps I started to get a bit tired and I made a mistake, crashing, losing two positions, finishing 24th. In race two I made a super start, finding myself third against the factory riders, which surprised me. But it was a great feeling, soon I dropped to 10th place but I felt down. However, I managed to have a good heat and finish 19th, scoring my first world championship points.”

Attestato del secondo tempo a soli 4 decimi dal primo, Lata ha dimostrato di sentirsi subito a suo agio sulla nuova moto e di aver svolto un ottima preparazione in vista dei futuri appuntamenti, mentre Mads ha concluso in ottava posizione, risultando così entrambi i più veloci piloti dell’europeo in pista. Al via della prima frazione una brutta caduta di gruppo, nella quale sono rimasti entrambi coinvolti, ha reso il weekend più difficile. Il danese si è dovuto ritirare per via di una brutta botta alla schiena ed è stato sottoposto a controlli che non hanno evidenziato problemi più seri di una brutta escoriazione, mentre il romano ha ripreso la gara in ultima posizione. Undicesimo al termine della prima frazione, dopo una buona rimonta inficiata da due ulteriori cadute, Lata è scattato bene al secondo via ma è stato rallentato da un’altra caduta che lo ha costretto ad una seconda rimonta, questa volta conclusa in sesta posizione, per un sesto posto assoluto di giornata. Fredsoe, anche se ancora dolorante ha preso parte alla seconda frazione ed ha mantenuto l’ottava posizione fino a poco dal termine quando è stato coinvolto da un avversario in una caduta, tagliando il traguardo 16°.

Il primo weekend di gara ha dato comunque buone informazioni sullo sviluppo della nuova moto e sulla preparazione dei piloti che si sposteranno ora verso Mantova per affrontare il secondo round degli Internazionali d’Italia.

The first round of the 2024 Internazionali d’Italia EICMA Series of Motocross was held this weekend on the Riola Sardo (OR) track. The Beddini GASGAS Factory Juniors team showed up on the track with the new colors, kicking off the new adventure with the GASGAS brand and with the high-performance MC 250Fs on which Valerio Lata and the young Danish, Mads Fredsoe, will compete in the mini continental series, the Italian Prestige MX2 Pro Championship and the EMX250 European Championship.

Setting the second best lap time just 4 tenths behind the first, Lata demonstrated that he immediately felt at ease on the new bike and that he had carried out excellent preparation, while Mads finished in eighth position, thus making both of them the fastest EMX250 riders on track. At the start of the first moto a bad crash made the weekend more difficult. The Dane had to retire due to a bad hit to his back and was taken to checks which revealed no more serious problems than a bad graze, while the Italian restarted the race last. Eleventh at the end of the first moto, after a good comeback affected by two other crashes, Lata got off to a good start at the second start but was slowed down by another accident which forced him to make a second comeback, this time ending in sixth position, for a sixth place overall. Fredsoe, although still in pain, took part in the second start and maintained eighth position until he was involved in a crash by another rider, crossing the finish line in 16th.

However, the first race weekend gave good information on the development of the new bike and on the preparation of the riders who will now move towards Mantova to face the second round of the Internazionali d’Italia.

Dario Beddini Team Owner: “Le qualifiche hanno dimostrato l’ottimo lavoro svolto questo inverno dalla squadra. La velocità c’è ma le partenze e le cadute hanno compromesso il risultato finale di entrambi i piloti. Ad ogni modo è stata una bella prova per capire su cosa dobbiamo lavorare per migliorare in vista della prossima gara a Mantova tra una settimana.”

Joakin Furbetta Team Manager: “Questo weekend è stato un buon banco prova per il team e per i piloti che hanno dimostrato subito una buona velocità in pista, centrando un secondo e un ottavo posto in prova. La prima manche è stata da dimenticare per entrambi a causa di una caduta al via nella quale sono stati coinvolti. Valerio ha comunque potuto continuare, commettendo due errori nel finale che hanno compromesso il suo risultato, mentre Mads si è dovuto ritirare per fare un controllo alla schiena. In gara due entrambi i piloti hanno sofferto una brutta partenza ma grazie a un buon ritmo gara nei primi giri, gli ha permesso di rimontare. Valerio ha chiuso al sesto posto, mentre Mads è stato coinvolto da un altro pilota in una caduta e ha chiuso al 16° posto finale.”

Valerio Lata #53: “La prima gara degli Internazionali d’Italia a Riola Sardo era iniziata molto bene con il secondo tempo in qualifica; purtroppo un contatto alla prima curva dio gara uno e altre due cadute durante la manche mi hanno fatto perdere il ritmo, facendomi terminare in undicesima posizione. In seconda manche ho fatto una partenza discreta ma sono rimasto coinvolto in una caduta al via e sono partito ultimo. Ho cercato di rimontare senza fare errori e ho chiuso al sesto posto con un po’di rammarico perché sappiamo che se partiamo davanti possiamo fare molto bene. Dobbiamo sistemare ancora un po’ di cose sulla moto e poi saremo pronti per il Campionato Italiano e per l’Europeo. Ringrazio il team per il lavoro e ora ci prepariamo per Mantova.”

Mads Fredsoe #51: “Il primo round degli Internazionali d’Italia è andato bene. Ho iniziato con una buona qualifica in p8. La prima manche ha avuto un incidente piuttosto grave in partenza e non sono riuscito a continuare. Ho avuto dei lividi ma ci siamo comunque schierati per la seconda gara. Nei primi 15-20 minuti della manche ero ottavo ma alla fine ho avuto un incidente con un altro pilota e ho concluso 16°. Abbiamo imparato molto sulla nostra situazione in questa gara e meno male che la velocità va bene, Ora continuiamo a lavorare.”

Dario Beddini Team Owner: “Timed practice session showed the excellent work done by the team this winter. The speed is there but starts and crashes compromised the final result of both riders. In any case, it was a good test to understand what we need to work on to improve before the next race in Mantova in a week.”

Joakin Furbetta Team Manager: “This weekend was a good test for both, team and riders who immediately showed good speed on the track, achieving a second and an eighth place in timed practice. The first moto was a disaster for both riders due to a crash at the start. Valerio was still able to continue, making two mistakes towards the end which compromised his result, while Mads retired to have his back checked. In race two both riders had a bad start but thanks to a good race pace in the first part of the race they recovered. Valerio finished in sixth place, while Mads was involved in a crash by another rider and finished in 16th place.”

Valerio Lata #53: “The first race of the Internazionali d’Italia in Riola Sardo started very well with the second best lap time of the timed practice; unfortunately I ended the race eleventh as contact at the first corner of race one and two other crashes during the moto made me lose my rhythm. In the second moto I made a decent start but was involved in a crash at the start and started last. I tried to recover without making any mistakes and I finished in sixth place with a bit of regret because we know that if we start in front we can do much better. We need to fix a few more things on the bike and then we will be ready for the Italian and European Championship. Thanks the team for their work, now we prepare for Mantova.”

Mads Fredsoe #51: “First round of the internazionali d’Italia was okay. Started out with a good quali in p8. First moto had a pretty big start crash and couldn’t continue. Got some bruises but we went out for awcond race. Was p8 15-20 minutes of the moto but had a crash with another rider in the end. We learned a lot about our situation this race. Good thing that the speed is okay. We keep working.”

Al via di gara uno nessuno dei due è riuscito a partire al meglio ma con una condotta di gara attenta, su una pista resa particolarmente insidiosa dalle abbondanti precipitazioni cadute nei gironi precedenti, hanno terminato rispettivamente al quinto e al dodicesimo posto. In gara due le partenze di entrambi sono migliorate e Valerio, dopo il primo passaggio sul traguardo, è riuscito a prendere il comando della gara, tenendo la prima posizione per sei giri. Mads, scattato bene con la sua GASGAS MC 250F, è rimasto 8° per metà manche, prima di cadere, chiudendo la sua prova 13°, per un 11° posto assoluto di giornata. Per Lata invece è arrivato un terzo posto di manche e il podio di giornata degli Internazionali 2024 che chiude al quinto posto assoluto, migliore tra i piloti dell’Europeo EMX250. Il prossimo appuntamento con le gare, tra un mese, sempre a Mantova, con il primo round del Campionato Italiano Prestige di MX2, il 16 marzo.

The Tazio Nuvolari track in Mantova hosted the second and final round of the Internazionali d’Italia EICMA Series 2024 of Motocross. Valerio Lata and Mads Fredsoe lined up at the start of the timed practice in two different groups, achieving with the GASGAS MC 250F the second and sixth place.

At the start of race 1 neither of them managed to get off to a good start but with a careful race, on a tricky track for the heavy rainfall, they finished in fifth and twelfth place. In moto 2 the starts of both improved and Valerio, after the first lap, managed to take the lead of the race, holding first position for six laps. Mads, who got off to a good start, remained 8th for half the heat, before crashing, finishing his race 13th, for an 11th overall. For Lata, however, a third place in the moto allowed him to jump on the podium, finishing in fifth overall in the standings, best among the riders of the European EMX250 Championship. Next race, in a month, again in Mantova, with the first round of the Italian Prestige MX2 Championship, on March 16th.

Dario Beddini Team Owner: “Quella di Mantova è stata una gara piuttosto positiva per il nostro team! Mads ha confermato i suoi progressi con un bel risultato chiudendo in undicesima posizione, dimostrando la validità del lavoro che sta facendo. Valerio invece ha portato a termine un’ottima gara, riscattando quella della Sardegna, facendo vedere un ottimo passo gara, al livello die migliori piloti in pista. Sono molto contento  del lavoro svolto dai miei ragazzi e dai piloti. Ringrazio tutti i nostri partner; ora la squadra si preparerà al meglio per la prima prova del campionato italiano.”

Joakin Furbetta Team Manager: “E’ stato un ottimo weekend durante il quale entrambi i piloti hanno dimostrato un’ottima velocità in prova con il secondo posto di Valerio nel suo gruppo e il sesto di Mads. La pista era molto selettiva e i piloti ancora più numerosi e di miglior livello rispetto a Riola. Nella prima manche la partenza di entrambi non è stata delle migliori ma con un buon ritmo, prendendo confidenza con il tracciato, sono riusciti a chiudere in quinta e dodicesima posizione. In seconda manche entranti nono partiti molto meglio, con Valerio secondo, prendendo la testa della gara, chiudendo la gara terzo, molto vicino ai primi due, portando a casa un’ottima prova. Mads ha fatto un buon inizio manche nei primi 8, poi è caduto, perdendo il ritmo, chiudendo 13°.”

Valerio Lata #53: “Finalmente una gara positiva! In prima manche non ho centrato una partenza perfetta ma sono riuscito a concludere in quinta posizione. In seconda manche sono riuscito a partire secondo e a prendere il comando nel corso del primo passaggio, restando in testa per cinque giri. Quando Everts mi ha passato sono riuscito a rimanere nella sua scia, prendendo un buon ritmo concludendo terzo molto vicino ad Adamo ed Everts. Mi sono divertito anche se la pista era molto impegnativa. I frutti degli allenamenti sulle partenze cominciano a farsi vedere, anche se dobbiamo migliorare ulteriormente. Mads Fredsoe #51: “Seconda prova del campionato Internazionali d’Italia a Mantova. Nella prima gara ho terminato 12°, nella seconda 13° per un 11° di giornata. Nella seconda manche ho fatto una buona partenza e sono rimasto ottavo per circa 10 minuti ma poi sono caduto. È solo la mia seconda gara col quattro tempi, quindi sono abbastanza felice; ora abbiamo un buon mese davanti fino alla prossima prova per lavorare duro con la squadra ed essere più pronti. Grazie davvero a tutti nel team Beddini per quello che fanno per me.”

Dario Beddini Team Owner: “Mantova was a rather positive race for our team! Mads confirmed his progress with a good result, finishing in eleventh position, showing the quality of the work he is doing. Valerio, on the other hand, completed an excellent race, showing an excellent race pace, at the level of the best riders on the track. I am very happy with the work done by my guys and the riders. I thank all our partners; now the team will prepare as best as possible for the first round of the Italian championship.”

Joakin Furbetta Team Manager: “It was an excellent weekend during which both riders showed excellent speed in practice with second place for Valerio in his group and sixth for Mads. The track was very selective and the riders were even more and of a better level than in Riola. In the first heat the start of both was not the best but with a good pace, becoming familiar with the track, they managed to finish in fifth and twelfth position. In the second heat, both started much better, with Valerio second, taking the lead, finishing the race third, very close to the first two, bringing home an excellent performance. Mads made a good start in 8 place, then crashed, losing his rhythm, finishing 13th.”

Valerio Lata #53: “Finally a positive race! In the first moto I didn’t get a perfect start but I managed to finish in fifth position. In the second moto I managed to start second and take the lead during the first lap, remaining in the lead for five laps. When Everts passed me I managed to stay close to him, picking up a good pace and finishing third very close to Adamo and him. I had fun even though the track was very demanding and we can see that our training of the starts are doing well, even if we need to improve further. Now we will getting ready for the Italian Championship in Mantova on March 16th, ahead of the European Championship.”

Mads Fredsoe #51: “Second international Italian championship in Mantova. First race p12. Second race P13. Overall P11.Second race I had a good start and was riding in 8th for around 10 minutes but had a crash. It’s only my second race on the four stroke so I’m pretty happy. We have a good month till the next race so me and the team will work hard this month to get more ready. Really thank you to team Beddini for all they do for me.”

La squadra umbra di Dario Beddini, con sede a Roma e gestita dall’ex pilota e Campione Italiano della MX1 2022, Joakin Furbetta, sta completando la preparazione invernale e ha scelto gli Internazionali d’Italia EICMA Series di Motocross 2024 per mettere a punto gli ultimi dettagli. Entrambi i piloti hanno usato al meglio i mesi invernali per adattarsi alle nuove moto e metterle a punto a Roma per farsi trovare pronti per la prima gara dell’anno e si sono spostati in Sardegna per effettuare il photo shooting. La sabbia infernale delle dune di Riola Sardo sarà un ottimo banco di prova per mettere alla prova le moto e i piloti in un test impegnativo quanto importante in vista della prima prova della serie continentale il 24 marzo in Spagna.

Dario Beddini Team Owner: “Abbiamo fatto un gran lavoro per cambiare tutto, dalle moto alle grafiche, rinnovando profondamente l’immagine della nostra squadra. Lo staff al completo e i piloti hanno dato il 100% per farsi trovare pronti per il primo appuntamento stagionale. Siamo grati ai partner che ci hanno seguiti, a quelli che ci hanno accompagnato fin qui e a quelli che si sono uniti a noi n el 2024.”

Joakin Furbetta Team Manager: “Questo è un anno per noi cruciale, ora siamo una squadra ufficiale e abbiamo cambiato praticamente tutto per rappresentare nel migliore dei modi il marchio, ricambiare la fiducia ricevuta e affrontare al meglio questa stagione che ci vede al fianco di GASGAS.”
